Either you reinstall IE or screw it Wink

Should use Firefox. I used it and never turn back to IE at all Mr. Green

Firefox is quite good, but should keep IE around because some websites can’t load properly with firefox. dunno abt Opera though.

cityslickers SG

use IE foe websites which dont load properly in firefox. Imo IE is too risky biz to use..

So have you fixed your IE? The IT Support and Tech Corner forum in chanff8’s sig has lots of remedies & hints towards it.

Switch to firefox. I’ve switched over and never regretted.

yeah i m using firefox now....IE fer me now is too lag to do or run any application.........but still nid IE to run certain application.........

IE is needed in many windows applications so there is no way you can uninstall it properly.

The ONLY way is download a recent (not latest) copy of Windows Antispyware which has a bug. It'll recognise Internet Explorer as a spyware and remove it from your computer. Laughing

Switch to Opera. I've switched over and never regretted. Faster loading times, instant back/forward page, flexible JS control, instant turn-off-all-images on a button click, aggressive caching, and even folks at F-Secure weblog use Opera to visit malicious sites to further investigate it.

Faster, more secure. Do what is right. Serve mankind.

Firefox is the way Wink ...don quite lyk opera and avant coz they hav a more 'IE' feel....

I think IE still needed for certain sites, other than that, use FireFox as your main browser

Your IE is draining your resources lah. Sometimes also happens in Firefox, I just kill it and then restart then solve everything.

Maybe can try adding RAM to solve it. But will still lag if it is draining your computer's resources. One way to overcome it is to use Firefox or Opera or any other browsers you trust.

Another thing is check for spywares and all. Sometimes it is due to those spywares and adwares.

Yup. My school damn irritating. Only can use IE to open some applications.

Firefox! Very Happy

How i love the movable tabs in 1.5

I checked and seems like firefox consume 32MB of RAM...

Adding a tab to FF adds 2 or 3MB only

While IE takes 24 or 25MB for each window...

Opera <> IE. Opera has way more functions and its interface is different unless you are reading the screen upside down.

In fact Opera doesn't have an IE feel.. don't know how you can get that feeling in the first place.
