I think lobsters if overcooked can be rubbery. Crabs if overcooked, the flesh/meat soften and may disappear into your soup or gravy. You may end up having the shells only. Razz

And yah, the price too.

Precisely, Seriously I don't detect a big difference in taste between the Crayfish and lobster.. maybe the lobster is slightly sweeter in sashimi style. Not worth the price of lobster and seldom take lobster... too expensive.. I now only go for crayfish Very Happy

BTW, Lobster and crab meat has a totally different texture altogether....

Wow! Sounds delicious. Lobsters with butter is yummy, I like it. But with salted egg? That's a first for me. Can teach how to handle the salted egg on the lobsters? I'll like to try it out. Wink

Taste like diluted prawn lor.. not worth the price. But lobster sashimi is nice.. but cost about $100-130 for a good size one. Prawns taste better and nicer texture. Lobster ah... got a big and heavy head and very little meat.. in fact your paying 70% for the head. Twisted Evil

actually..it was frm an open air eatin place.. i ordered steam n butter wit salted egg.

i guess they used the yolk of the salted egg and beat it together with butter to make a creamy butter sauce.. mmmmm.. bellissimo!
