Hmm test drove this car and yes it isnt v hot on performance.
Think a lot of power loss from gear box and car is v heavy, so
moving off is leisurely. Also feel its more comfort biased so
handling not so sharp. My friend gets abt 10 plus km/l, maybe coz
he stomps on the pedal to get it going. Safety wise this is the car
to get, v solid, good for a family man. As for reliability my
previous Renault Scenic gave a bit of engine trouble (very gruff,
FC increased) after 3 years and the air con started to give
problems around the same time. Also the car can run pretty hot in
jams when idle. Not sure about the newer Megane but ask around abt
reliability from current owners lah.
