SBS9828X SG

i got no idea how a hp works w/o caller id leh Rolling Eyes

askxyz SG

Having hp means more work to do leh. You have to pick up when it rings and people normally come and find me to solve their problems. Sianz.... Sometimes din hear it, they will complain why I din listen or call back..

Having a hp makes me feel I am slave to it. Sad

W/o caller ID, I will have excuse to not call back le, juz like some of my friends. Laughing

askxyz SG

Just hoping to hear more opinions lo. Smile

SBS9828X SG

ur siggy says, any problems, askxyz Laughing

askxyz SG

i pay $5/mth for Caller-ID. quite okay ah.. at least some1 calls, i pick up the phone.. find out who he/she is.. aft i hang up, can save the person's no.

i meet some1 along the streets.. he/she asks for my number.. i tell 'em to give me a missed call aft giving him/her my no.

easy mah.

askxyz SG

Ya, those are some of the advantages.

But I'm wondering if the disadvantages will outweight the advantages or vice versa ...

sinicker SG

what are the disadvantages?

^tamago^ SG

a lot of functions require caller id to work, like missed calls, whether to accept or reject calls etc, usually call management services.

askxyz SG

Hmmm..... Your friends will complain why you din call back .... (for something that is not important or annoying )
You will feel obligation to return call. Ignorance is bliss lo. Wink
and etc lo...

sinicker SG

lol.. ic.. i dun return calls. i sms them and ask, 'what you want?'. and most of the time, my help is no longer required. and dat's it. end of story.

askxyz SG

I would rather not know what are the missed calls now.

but for whether to accept or reject calls, I thought usually the screen will flash the numbers?

askxyz SG

My sms is only 100. Sad

I can't do this everytime when there is a miss call mah.

sinicker SG

u mean 100 free smses?

askxyz SG

starhub lo. subscribe to giro and get 100 smses free lo.

sinicker SG

100 free smses a month??? that's.... pathetic leh. now got plans wiv 1000 free smses. Very Happy i 500 free.

SBS9828X SG
