Yah, it is like in Malaysia where the chinese are REQUIRED to
learn the Malay language too.
Now look, they realise the stupidity in our education system, and
dropped the compulsary Mandarin as 2nd language ruling. Isn't it
too late now that so many of us in my generation suffered because
of poor marks in Mandarin? And we have so many young generations
currently who graduated from university but can't speak or write
well in English?
There will come a time, when our government will have to revise
their CPF policies when a great many number of us migrate elsewhere
to retire with our heard earned money. Not many of us wants to slog
till 62 or 65 years old.
Even if you want to, who the hell will employ you at this age and
with all the ailments you will have by then developed??
This lack of welfare (or consideration) for the old, is going to
definitely affect the coming election.
