OD is like this sexy name given to the highest gear in an auto
gearbox used for cruising
simply put, OD is like the fifth gear in a manual gearbox.
Leave it on for high speed cruising.
For high speed overtaking, turning OD off is like forcing the auto
box to drop a gear, hence more power and RPM goes up.
In heavy traffic, Doesn't matter whether you leave it on or
off,
coz not likely the OD gear will kick in at low speed, even if it's
on.
Prob just the regular 1, 2, 3 or 4 auto gears will be used
only.
IMHO, leave it on at heavy traffic. Save the hassle.
Cheers!
