jOhO SG *takes out management textbook* ok u want a tall structure or flat structure? centralised or decentralised? er.. got many more theories.. forget liow mauahha first year work.. toooo long ago!
jOhO SG ok tall structure is like this: as opposed to a flat structure: centralised management means everything is done from one place/office and usually means that only the upper management make decisions, even down to day-to-day operations. (eg a small business where the boss decide all) de-centralised management allows middle managers and even supervisors enuff power to make decisions on their own, without consulting superiors for certain things. (eg branches of a chain of retail stores, where each store manager makes certain day to day operational and sometimes management decisions) wah i stress... draw those pics with a TOUCHPAD cos i'm at home.. mouse at work...
