How do we auto switch on the pc at scheduled time ? Help pls

Get more detailed information from him/her. When he/she does that issit all switches are turned off that connect to the PC? Dun just focus on PC alone, check all wires connected to PC or accessories and their switches at the wall. Different ppl definition of auto turn on is different Mr. Green

it is possible for those intelligent homes
where u can control your household applicances via hp or internet.....switch on ur air-con jus before u reach home.....turn on ur rice-cooker.......(and i think on computer should not be a problem lah)

I believe for those devices, the home muz have something permanently switch on to receive the signal from the hp and then this device will in turn one by one go and on the household appliances.

It is same analogy as modem+PC proposed by one poster. The PC is switched off but the modem must be on to prepare to receive a signal rite? So for those intelligent homes I believe there is one device permanently on waiting for activation and then this device activate the rest.

Above is not truly on in the strictest definition but of cuz if your definition is looser you are right to say this auto on feature exist Mr. Green
