my monitor also had a similar problem, when start that time, will
be slowly dim. after a while back to normal.
then 1 day, the lights went out.
you've been using it 4 years liao, that's already value for $$.
many monitors konk out after 3 years. this kind of thing don't need
niao piao one. save yourself some anguish and just get a new
monitor.
get lcd. less heat, less glare, less power used.
17" can get for $500 +-
