kingofbeholder SG http://hk.news.yahoo.com/060108/10/1k85e.html i think you better read this too. what hk police had said.
apoc.feuer SG A high level translation: ============================ The article claimed that a HK nationality was 'innocently' involved in a credit card fraud case (The article claims that her brother was the culprit however the article did not elaborate on the investigation details on her brother, as in what happened to her brother etc etc). During the custody period she was badly toture by SG police and she claims that the police had force to admit this crime that she has not commit. Out of desperation she escaped and went back to HK. (Hmm....Ah Hao might have give our custom a miss, hmm but...I don't any criminal suspect can give our police station a miss....truly X-files) ============================ The authour took opportunity to tarnish our SG police reputation by stressing how bad the gal was totured by our police. That's the way I look at it...
laurence82 SG Question would be how true is it? Quite bizarre that the sg police wants her to admit, then she can escape from police as well immigration.
kingofbeholder SG come on, for what i know...singapore police will only do this with singapore gangster
Deunamist SG Stupid woman. In a police investigation, of course the IOs will review all possible motives before they interrogate the suspect. During interrogation, they will throw all motives at the suspect and slowly conduct their analysis on each and every alibi the suspect tries to forge. But I think this woman is just another attention-seeker. How do you escape from an SG lockup?! I've done some projects with officers from Bedok North NPC before, and I've seen the door to the lockup open before. Behind it was a locked grille, and yet another grille. Even Houdini wouldn't be able to get himself out of that one. How does she escape!?
Sagara SG I nearly got locked in the lockup area b4[card cannot access lol].. this woman can come out ?
Fatum SG Remember the former hongkong prostitute who claimed to have been raped in Thailand, and was later jailed when it was revealed she lied cos she wanted to write a book about it ? ... maybe this one's actually planning to write a book on the story too ...
dragg SG is it that bad? i have heard first hand account of police beatings. according to my friend who works in banking fraud they normally beat those who they think are guilty.
