EXERCISE NORTHSTAR - SMRT TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
A. Between 6.30 am to 8.30 am (estimated timings)
1. Due to Exercise Northstar, the following MRT stations will be
closed:
North South Line:
Braddell, Toa Payoh, Novena, Newton, Orchard, Somerset, Dhoby
Ghaut, City Hall, Raffles Place, Marina Bay
East West Line:
City Hall, Raffles Place, Tanjong Pagar
2. To minimise the inconvenience caused to passengers, the
following bus-bridging services are being provided:
North South Line:
- Between Bishan and Raffles Place stations
- Between Raffles Place and Marina Bay stations
East West Line:
- Between Bugis and Outram Park stations
3. Listen to in-train and in-station announcements informing the
commuters of their involvement in the exercise as well as the
disruption of train services.
4. SMRT staff are on site to answer to queries and provide
information on alternative transport. You can also refer to
directional signages at the stations.
B. Between 8.30 am to 9.30 am (estimated timings)
1. Due to Exercise Northstar, trains will bypass these MRT stations
which are closed:
North South Line:
Toa Payoh, Dhoby Ghaut, Raffles Place, Marina Bay
East West Line:
Raffles Place
All other stations are open for service
2. To minimise the inconvenience caused to passengers, the
following bus-bridging services are being provided:
North South Line:
- Between Braddell and Toa Payoh stations
- Between Dhoby Ghaut and Raffles Place stations
Loop service between Raffles Place, Marina Bay and Tanjong Pagar
stations
