amicute: it is obvious u are oblivious to what real music is. I
am somewhat well-versed in the local music industry and its
happenings as I used to be the lead guitarist of a band.. Those
F4..5566..Energy crap..they are not musicians at all! Technically,
they are NOT a band because they don't play instruments! They are
more appropriately referred to as a Pop Group. Only Mayday has
enough credibilities to be called a "band".
For your info, Singapore really has many real talented bands. But
all these bands are not doing well because people prefer to listen
to artistes who can't sing well, but are handsome...pretty..etc
etc..this is really stupid because then they are not even
considered singers, because they only sell their albums by
plastering their face on the cover, and every page of the little
booklet that comes with the CD.
Give local bands a listen. Electrico, Ronin and Pug Jelly have
their debut albums out in local music stores. There are others like
Objection Overule, Moren Tea Estate, The Observatory..

Plain Sunset is an even more accomplished band.
