Ryan99 SG I just want to know whether buying a used car (eg. Hoda civic ESI) is better or buying a new car (eg Honda Civic VTi) is better.. which one depreciate faster.. which is more value for money? what about used cars with $101 COE?
D16Z6 SG if u prefer performance,go for older cars... if not jus a second hand car wif in the year 2000 n above... new car will depreciates alot in the 1st year... u will be surprised....
blueoasis SG Go 4 New car , cos' will save a hassle of maintenance, all those paperwork to settle, condition of car . Now COE is the lowest and will drop till mar this yr, if u hv the budget don't wait until the chances slip away.
Ryan99 SG I’ve read in the newspapers that a 7 Year Honda CIvic ESI costs only 20k plus.. is it true or a scam??? same goes for those cars with number plate SB something… is it a scam??
ak0 SG 20k i dun believe... if u say is around 30k it is possible.... the civic they selling is not 7 years... but its 13 years left 7 years COE.. 1992-93 make... honda civic EG series, esi vti and lsi
wbucket SG For first time buyer, I think the advise is to get a new car. Cause you properly don’t know what the hack to look out for for a second-hand car. Could get your vegetable head chop. There might be hidden cost that they will only tell you at the last minute. Default interest rate for loan is also very much higher. And you most likely don’t know of any reliable mechanics that could verify the condition of the car.
ak0 SG if u wanna get honda i think can consider fit/jazz or accord more sporty than civic.. civic looks abit stiff to me.see wat u looking for in the car u wanna buy… transmission, performance, FC, package, extirior looks, price and budget…
blueoasis SG true, new is better than old . CNY coming soon and COE is so low, 'mai tu liao',it is customers' market now u know. Customer is king/Queen now... From a new buyer pt of view, sorry if i hv offended those old timers.
