Precisely if you are the only survivor or 1 of the few, anything
you see ard you belongs to you that means your dead neighbours
fridge, his dog or cat, his food, his clothes, his jewellery
everything and anything you can lay your eyes on. and if you are
the only survivor in singapore then you become the Prime Minister,
the Police the only authority all in one so what good is a bar of
gold going to do. If I had the last can of luncheon meat in
singapore I don't think I will trade with caramon for his bar of
gold. My can of spam is definately worth much more than a lousy
piece of yellow metal.
Maybe not during apocalypse but just prior to that is normally
during anarchy when the government in the land collapse and the
only law is the law of the gun that time barter trading
opportunities aplenty.
