question about setting custom ringtones for 3230

dark_snowboy SG

i have my own mp3 tone at my memory card, how do i make it show when i want to change my ringtone?

Pitot SG

just go to profile selection, when at the ringtone u press select ringtone from the mem card n find ur mp3..

technoboy SG

The message tone canot be changed to your own mp3 right?

chanff8 SG

yes you can. to make the MP3 show in the list you have to put them under the “Sound clips” folder. They create the music list based on all the files in that folder

dark_snowboy SG

hmm, i cant see select 'select ringtone from the memory card'

but i can see my ringtone out of the many ringtones that they had as default

Lol you can't compare a symbian with a non symbian phone la. operating system different. But its cool how many functions they can put in 6230i. 1.3MP camera, IR, Bluetooth, 32mb built-in memory right?

yea 6230i can. And the recording is much smoother on it than on Symbian phones due to the smaller resolution

shade343 SG

I can leh. Laughing

Pitot SG

Having used both phones, I think they are for diff personalities..
Both got pros and cons la..

TRU TRUE, for 3230, u have to save the ringtone in your memory card, sounds, digital.

Dun create another folder, only create the folder in the digital folder then shld be OK liao.
