To me, it's Jesus's birthday - although it isn't exactly the
date.
It's also a time to forgive and forget (doubt I can do the forget
part...), to give and to love.
It's a time to share warmth and love with family and friends,
drink, eat, make merry - sit and talk of the new year to come, and
how we look forward to living through the coming new year.
If you find yourself alone on Christmas Eve or Day, count your
blessings and consider yourself LUCKY - there are people alone, in
pain, and in hospital or in jail or even worse - being extricated
out of a car wreck in road accident soaked in blood.
Don'y cry over a small splinter in your skin, because others who
have lost a limb, are glad to be alive....
