anyone has any ideas how to keep the seats clean then? esp the elegance version, where the seat is half leather and half suede... i'm quite sure the suede version will get dirty quite quick!

*About the rattling on/inside the 5th door panel and such thats normal i have been living with it for a year or so - worst with a 17inch rim(205/40/17)...basically blast ya I.C.E (Bass Bin) when driving hehehehhehe that helps ya..

*Rotate tires every 10,000km..

*Check the Singapore Toyota 'IST Club' site, someone gave a very good advice on that "Thug" Sound when parking etc etc to the rest of the members there. I tried that advice once and it works and his explanation seems logical... For me, that(Thug) sound happens when i park on a slope..

*Installing a Tachometer-check with boring silver during the meet-ups...I heard Defi BF(Amber/Red illumination) has a Tachometer now but only available in Japan..damn it!!!

*Petrol consumption- I still clocking 380k-400k on full tank leh.....

*Car servicing- TCM cost a bomb for both minor(15,30,50,70 etc etc) and even more so for a Major service(10,20,40,60,80 etc etc)... Go to Autosaver they are good and friendly... After my 3 free service with TCM i started servicing elsewhere..
Autosaver-Kaki Bukit branch is super friendly and helpful, furthermore they do consult and flushing when they service your car...look for winson and tell him you wanna join the Nissan Club ($15) and he will give you a discount after you join the club...super worth it... and i do not work for them hehehheheheh... don't flame me hehehheheheh... use 5w-40 Fully syn oil....

K&N Filters-Hiyo what you guys/gals waiting for, go get one..

Denso Iriduim Plugs- IKH 16 or IKH 20 both heat range can be used in that sense..
Change and feel the difference...

hi there, no thats not the norm for your RPM not to be responsive...maybe he tap direct from the CPU and maybe got abit of salah-ness in the wiring???? What brand is your Tacho cos the brand plays a part too...
Is your Head unit a dual din or a single din?

The tacho's brand is race tech RS... the one with seven colours and made in taiwan... decided to go for that cos didn't want to spend too much on the tacho. i know the guy connected it directly to the ECU (or something like that).

anyway, my head unit is a single din. wanted to go for a double din initially (for aesthetic reasons Very Happy ), but decided later that it will be good to have extra "storage" space for my remote control and wallet

Great!! I feel honor to be the 1st choc nissan march in the club. Surprised

I booked it at Motorshow. I called the general line and they quoted me something like $900. And I heard my friend told me it is cheaper at Motorshow. I got at $500!!! (UP $750) Mr. Green Very good deal at 30% discount. There is no package, the darker version is $900 and lighter version is $750.
At least I got back the entrance fee!

Maybe you could try Nanolux or V-kool. There are from same parent company like Toyota and Lexus, but the price is very much different, don't know why. You could get as low as $399 from Nanolux.

I am not sure whether can meet everyone on 11 Dec will try very hard.

We were told by SE that theft alarm is not encourage for elegance as it was difficult to tap and incase may ??!!// Even technician from TCM also didn't want to take the risk. How come yr SE never advise u??? or they said ok if that is so, I will go back TCM and ask for explanation

HI All! I'm so happy this club is doing soo well!! can't believe that little me started this thread a while back hoping to find some other marchies to go for drives up to sentosa or something (see first message heheh) and now there are over 18k hits!! (i'm still hoping for my dream of a group of marchies going for a drive together to sentosa or maybe even JB - even tho it may be a logistical nightmare with coordination of schedules! But imagine the stares we'll get with all the funky colours driving in one long line on the freeway!)

Anyway, wanted to share my experience with :

1. RATTLING.. when i first got the car, i was puzzled by the sound too... finally (with the help of the workshop ppl during the first service) I found out it was due to the two strings that are connected to like little knobs that hold the back board. Now by placing some heavy things on it and pushing it down whenever i can (and tightening the knobs - workshop did it for me), there is no more rattling!! (i have already removed the heavy things and stopped pushing it down).

2. Sensor Beeping.. Do you realise that when you open the door while listening to music (IE when the engine is on), the beeping comes on and it is so annoying! Sometimes you want to listen to cool music and open the door..either for fresh air while waiting for someone, or just wanting to look cool heheh, but the beeping noise is so loud! Does anyone know if it can be switched off? I don't want it removed cos its useful for other times (like if you really forget to turn off the engine or lights when you leave the car) Help!

I have been waiting for 18mths to see a substantial following for the K12. It's about time eh.

This rattling business has been driving me crazy for the longest time. Its been banging on my ears since the first day. Have tried indenting new bump stops, pasting household rubber stoppers. But the tailgate still rattles over every hump. Short of replacing the entire thing, I've exhausted most of my initiatives. If I do not turn on the radio when i drive, it sounds like a concert in the forest with crackling and rattling all over. Nissan better wake up their ideas.

i changed mine to a 12 disc player. the changer was is placed under the passenger seat. no prob. very good. very convenient.

i won't dare say they are good, but i changed it at turf city one of the car audio shop there. can't remember the name.

k, got my car all done up with wald bodykit. so happy! BUT!... today coming out of bugis junction's carpark, the slope was so steep that i scratched the bodykit!!!!! ahhhhhh....so heart pain! but luckily not obvious. unless u bend down to see if not cannot see the scratches! Sad

hey i should be able to make it for the 11th dec meet up! unless there is no changes at the 11th hour, i should be there! can't wait to meet up with u guys! cheers!

We could first meet in the West, have a bite/drink at Macdonald's or take shelter (like the 1st meetup). Discuss decal and car accessorizing, I.C.E., tachometer or whatever and then all drive towards the North to Yishun Dam (should be quite a sight on the road). Usually there are a lot of car gatherings at night and it will be great to see Marchies all parked together in a straight line. Put in your names, call your Marchies friends and join us.

Hmmmm thats very normal for the kit(s) to get scratched especially after you lower your car and install the kit(s)...If you go to that shopping mall @Sengkang confirm the side skirt will kena when you leave the carpark hehehehheh.And then the front lip will also kena when leaving Takashimaya carpark from the upper level carpark because the apex of the hump is as high as mount faber so basically park on the lower/basement carpark... now you know why when you look around the basement carpark of takashimaya you see lots of hmmmm "lowered" cars hehehehhehhe

How much you pay for the changer, installation and such...whats the model of ya changer??

And how much you pay for the Wald kit (including installation and sprayin) ???

My SE also simply refused to give any freebies, quoting that he has given me a very good price for my trade-in car, so no more margin to give anything else. I didi check with other SEs secretly and the trade-in price were indeed 1k to 2k lower.

So, did anyone managed to squeeze out a Vcool or reverse sensor from yr SE?

yes got to change the whole radio. we cannot just simply fit a CD changer to the existing player that comes with the march when u purchase. i did a trade-in thingy from my SE's lobang. no need to top up. he said he'll settle for me as i didn't ask for any other freebies. Laughing

it's a JVC model. not fantastic but ok la. Smile

i paid about $3k inclusive installation n spray paint. actually really "yi fen chien yi fen huo"! why i say that.....some cheap bodykit, if u have a slight bump on it, i will crack but mine original from japan really didn't n the damage was minimal. i was surprised! the first scratch i got was the back skit. while reservsing forgot i fitted the bodykit, reversed all the way n hit the stump stopper at the back; felt the car went up the stump.....quickly move forward a little n get down to check. initially was telling myself....die liao! but the skit is still ok. not warp or something which i thot it will! and the scratch is not noticable unless i bend down to see....then last nite has to happen to the front skit!! urgh! very happy with the bodykit. Cool

how's Ings kit coming along?

so if u see a yellow march with wald kit...the spoiler is a pretty big piece...that's me! say hi k?! Laughing

I'm aware of the interest of u guys going to come out wif "March Club" decals or stickers...
Anyway,for my side,we alreadi have the "March Club" stickers pasted on our cars,u might get the chance to see a few K11 on the rd wif the stickers on.
Decals wise,we alreado our own Nissan club decals...

I personally sms Addygirl a few mths back to invite her to log on to our forum..
Hope that the new "March Club" stickers u guys coming out wif,will not create confusion wif my March Club here,thx...

I have booked my elegance march in late sep and got my coe in early oct, but till now i have not been informed by my SE to collect my car. The last round he told me it will be end Nov.. but till now no news. Anyone who is the same batch as me has collected the car?? Crying or Very sad
