My SE tries to smoke me by telling me that the Vkool Mirage is top of the range and cost something like $900 to $1000 so she could not give it to me. She also mentioned that the Huper Optic cost $800 so its not possible unless I top up the difference. She said she could give me the cheaper VKool if I insist I want the Reverse Sensor as well without any additional cost. Actually, I am not trying to be unreasonable but I thought she would get a good commission (maybe $3 to $5k but she seems to give the idea that she is only getting $1 to $2k for my purchase). I wish I know roughly how much she will be getting so at least I can gauge if my demands are reasonable or not. Cheers, Tweety
tweety74 SG Hi Mr Lextra, Quick question for you so that I can understand the cars in Malaysia better... If I got it correct, it seems from some of the correspondence in this forum that March is not available in Malaysia. Is that true? But how did you get it in the first place? Through parallel importer? My friend who is a Malaysian, swore to me that it is not available in Malaysia. One of the plus point for me to purchase the K12 is the fact that it is not available in Malaysia so it will be a lot easier for me to drive there with lower risk of being stolen as there are no market for it in Malaysia/Thailand/Cambodia. Those car thieves will have to think twice before stealing it cos it may be a lot easier for them to be nab while driving the March especially if it is rare in Malaysia. Cheers, Paul
forumtsungchian SG Tweety, From www.nissan.com.my, think march not launched yet... not sure abt the actual commission. There's commision from sale of car, insurance and loan amt. Other forums usually says the SE will get 1% of the loan amt. for the sale of car, it depends on the size and how easy the car can be sold. You can try to go to other authorised dealer besides Tan Chong and see if they can offer you a better deal in terms of freebies. Then maybe you can negiotiate better with the SE in TC.
Wheels on Fire SG Taken delivery of my car - FINALLY But got i question, is there suppose to be beeping sound (like reverse sensor)when reverse gear is engaged? I dun remember squeezing that thing out of my SE and there's no sensor on my rear bumper. Also owner handbook didn't mention anything like that. Anyone care to enlighten
lexta SG Hi Tweety74 & forumtsungchian March is not officially launch in Malaysia by Tan Chong yet. WHen you go thru their web site you can browse thru imported vehicles section you'll be able to see the march in the malaysia nissan web site. They did import the car in but too expensive selling about rm118k I did saw an original march once in malaysia. Mine was not really a nissan is a rebadges version of it call impul march. Can check it out on www.impul.com.my (Products--->112s) is selling cheaper at rm110k by Impul malaysia.
lexta SG Hi Tedz, The sound only came when driving so i can only keep my eyes on the road not on the door so can only heard the sound cant even really verified what cause the problem. The thing i know is when i push my hand against the door panel then the sound is gone for sure. Should be something loosen. I will ask the SC on my first service. Hopefully they can give me an answer so can share with you on this problem as well.

Does not mean that if i install aftermarket reverse sensor, i will hear two different beeping sound at different timing when i reverse Sure sound very messy one. noot SG hiya guys! i hope i can meet all u marchies tomorrow! have been following this thread for ages - will be great to put faces to your nicknames! since tweety asking about freebies, thought i'll share what a friend of a friend of a friend (i dunno him one) got when he bought a marchie right after i did. he didn't take a loan at all (rich guy - maybe i shld get to know him. ha!) and only got $300 cash back. i wonder if that's good? does anyone know? apparently, his SE told him her commission is only $500 cos he's not taking a loan, and she's only earning $200. not sure if this is really true or of any help, tweety, but just a guide of what's happening in the market lah. PS: i also angst over buying my march for damn long before i decided to get it - about half a year! but right after i made the decision, i've been damn happy. can't wait to collect my marchie.
tweety74 SG Hello Ang Pow, There is no way that I can change to another SE now unless I back off from her now and wait a little longer before changing to another SE. l was told that TC will not allow me to do so unless she is really that bad...... Next Tuesday will be the drop-dead day for me to decide whether I should proceed with the purchase.... I dun want to wait too long because the last wait cos me extra $2.5K. Somehow, I felt that the price of the March may go up further. I will check with one or two Nissan authorised dealers tomorrow and see what the price difference would be. Will keep you posted once I have signed the papers. I just wonder if there are anyone out there who failed to get their COE after 3 bids and have to top up some amount to secure the COE. tweety74 SG Hi Noot, I wish I could wait longer but am worried the price of the March Elegance may rise to the S$70k region. It used to be sold in this region until recently when its prices were reduced to the S$60K region. If only if I have a little more money then I can afford to take this gamble and see if the price will remain this way or lower. Yeah! Some SEs like to make us think that they are not getting fat commission but in fact, I think they do get quite a fair bit. Cheers, Tweety
