sohguanh SG Actually my opinion is buy diamond is for show off only at grand wedding dinner or major gala event. Say suddenly both hubby and wife get retrenched and savings dwindling fast. Desperate measures call for desperate moves and decide to go pawn shop pawn stuff get money to tide over current difficult situation. Diamonds alot so wat? Cannot get a few $. If got gold different especially wedding tat time mother give 4 point gold pieces can take and pawn get some money hehehehe.... PS My wife hide those gold away until I also dunno where. Got free time must go hunt see she put where. It seem she spread the gold pieces over several hiding places.... hmmmm........
