You should be aware that speeding is an offense and well ... like many other have said, i shall not add anymore but i see that you are kind of like me in the past haha ...

1st year get license - Speeding at 190km/h along AYE , Tailgating as if want to PURPOSELY bang the car infront, Reckless driving, you name it i did it.
2nd year - bang a China man at geylang and was awarded 9 pts with $200
End of 2nd year - Got class 2b, bought a bike (Honda NSR150SP), pillion my GF and race down EVERY ROADs at average of 100km/h and expressways at 180km/h on NSR speedometer.
3rd year - reduce speed till 115km/h on expressways (Sian liao)
4th year - Got class 4 & 5 (know more about motoring thus reducing speed again)
5th 6th and so on ... slow and steady

Caught for speeding for don't know how many times. Sponsered Gov't in road buildings. Worth it ?

Offenses I committed in the past:-
Parking
Speeding exceeding 20km/h
Speeding exceeding 30km/h
Skid along PIE Upper Serangoon exit infront of Traffic Police at the speed of 115km/h to avoid a taxi
Accident (Bang ppl butt)
Accident (Ppl bang my butt)

well let me say out my personal experience.

I was also caught speeding on BKE that time and the TP who caught me clocked me at 133km/h...43km above the highway limit..

then 2 weeks or so later i received the summon to court notice. that particular day is my birthday somemore..sianz..

so there i was, went to court 26 with a heavy heart. and so the judge came..when its your turn you can speak to a lady who will in turn speak to the judge on your behalf.

that time as i was first time offender, i plead guilty and also leniency. true enough i was fined a hefty 700 bucks and a demerit of 12 points.

theres no handcuff watever shit lah..if you need to pay throught nets/credit card, the officer will escort you to the counter only lah..

so the only thing you could do now is just plead guilty and plead for leniency (prepare at least 1k)..hopefully your probation would be over when you attend the court..so you would have 24 points to deduct...

and once you commited an offence the record will be with you till you die..so dun repeat the same mistake again...and i tell you..the feeling that time i have really sucks...

Anyway if you cant pay, you have to be remanded for 2 to 3 days... so make sure you prepare some cash or you can always sit in the lock-up Smile . but it aint a criminal offence so there is no record of it... btw under suspension.. pls dont drive... if get caught for driving under disqualification is worse than any kind of speeding...

135km/hr really isn't that fast , unfortunately he chose to do it on Singapore roads. Sad With the TP's on the prowl, it really does not pay to speed, guess he learnt the hard way.

Probably a $800 fine and liscense suspension Crying or Very sad Problem is the TP will make it very hard for such candidates to pass the test again....as they are black-marked already. He does need to seriously consider what to do with his car.

The speed camera (hand held) is very capable of clocking cars well over 250km/hr. I was driving my cousin's Brabus C3.8 and we were into 280 km/hr and yes the Malaysian Police managed to clocked us. If the Malaysians can do it, Singapore will probably have the same capabilities.

It is siok to step on the accelerator on a straight rd.

I hd the same kind of experience few years back , while i am driving my veh on the PIE(Tuas) at around 1000hrs. It was free of traffic at that time and i hd a quick glance at the rear mirror to chk for any TP. After confirmation that there r no TP , i step the pedal slowly until it reaches 120 km/h. I can tell u that the feeling is damn siok. For 10 min i was driving this speed and out of a sudden a TP appear on my left side of window and signal me to stop. Shit!! I was totally mad of myself but was too late. This was my first and the last i tell myself, cos i hv maintained a clean sheet since i got my licence 4 yrs 11mths liao going to 5yrs but i just blew it. It was my unlucky day for me.
The TP said that i was speed at 110km/h and fined $150/-.

I tell myself not to drive for a yr to play safe so that my pts will be restored back to normal.
Pls don't do not speed in S'pore,it is not worth it. If u want to hv a feel of speed u can always go to malaysia racing circuit. As u r paid to speed whatever u like nobody will book u for that. Mr. Green

don't say lidat... sometimes, its easy to go over the limit unknowingly... have u ever tried to ensure that u stay at exactly 90km/h on an expressway b4? U take your eyes off the speedo for about... 5 seconds, and u'll prob be at 100km/h already... b4 we find out exactly why he was speeding, dun straightaway accuse him of doing the above highlighted. I mean, if u were levelling such an accusation at me, I would agree, because honestly that is true for me... but he hasn't explained himself yet, so I think its only fair to hear what he has to say for himself?

no prob. I can understand a bit... I got caught doing 90 along a 50 rd..... narrowly avoided a court case. it was 3am and i was rushing to NTU to pick a friend up after having just picked another fren up. That was like my 2nd last nite in SG b4 I leave for UK, hence my 2 best buddies were bugging me to go out with them for one last group meal in a long time... anyways, good luck for your case.

well i was actually doing slightly over 90, and mine was supposed to be a court case, but as I was leaving sg in less than 48 hours, the officer was really nice n compounded the fine instead.

yeah its not a criminal offence but the traffic offence will be with you through out loh..if lets say 10 years later you commit another offence..and when you go court..the TP suprintendent will submit a past record list the judge for consideration loh..you think what.. Razz

that day i went court got one uncle..he 14 years ago commit the traffice offence also came to light..he also stunned loh..he thought it would be written off but sad to say..IT DIDNT!.. Twisted Evil

Thanks again, well i was quite stone in the morning so barely look at the speedomter much but when i last look at my speedometer i was at 120km/h, then in a feeling of spilt secs i was horned by the tp, n was told to keep left.
Well, but still regret about it. Car is my passion, yet i misused it. Guess without license means no car, my life will be different back to buses n mrt liao.

where does the motorcycle come from? From heaven? As long as the motorcycle do not appear instantly, there is reaction time.

You might as well say he driving at 50km/h and a pedestrian jumps out in front of the car. He would not be able to break in time too.

Actually, 135 isn't that fast. Just that he suay he got P-plate and 6 points left.

135 depends on what car and also the roads in singapore is only 90.. in malaysia ok lah 135-140 no problem one.... Smile

and i was caught in the exact same scenario as you loh..speed and check all my spots but out of sudden tp beside me liao..lolz...im still puzzling now where the hell did the tp come from??.. Confused
