Questions on GTR

Hi Bro and Sis,

I'm new to this forum and would like to learn more from you guys. Ok, will be asking questions.

1) What are the tell tale signs of GTR and GTT?

2) Whats the main difference between GTR 32, 33 and 34?

i)I have heard that R32 is a better performance car, is that true?

ii) And it seems like no one talked about R33, is it really a bad car?

R33 bad car? Laughing For every one R32 I see in the streets of Brissy, I see four R33s. I love the R33's styling. It has a much more erm fiercer look compared to the above mentioned models to me. Every corner I take there, I see an R33 with an exhaust pipe huge enough to stick your limbs in.

oh hi dude, i might be able to ans some of your doubts on skylines. Smile

1) The 25GT is nt equipped with a V-spec LCD display on the dashboard.Secondly If u have a chance to take a look at the engine bay of a 25GT, its using a 2.5 single turbo RB25DET engine unlike the GTR is a 2.6 twin turbo stated RB26DETT on the engine case.

2) 1 of the main differences is the ECU mapping of the car.The 32 and 33 has less complicated electronics and the R34 is the heaviest among all.But doubtlessly some R34 has been tuned up over 1000 Hp.

i) as my ans for the 2nd question is an explanatory for this becuz less complicated electronics makes a tuner easier to tune up a car.

ii) The R33 is the same as the other R siblings using the RB26 engine.perhaps there is only 1 or 2 in sg.needlessly to say, the R33 is still 1 of the top breed of the skyline family.

R34 GTR comes with reclinable bucket seats, while GTT comes with normal seats. Gear knob is another tell tale sign, GTR is 6 speed while GTT is 5.

R33 bad? no way. I love the R33 lots. in fact I don't really like the looks of the R32. R33 is also the model with the famous Nismo 400 edition. The R33 also raced in Le Mans

as for the R34, heres a simple way of telling the GTR n GTT which dun involved looking for LCD screens or reclining seats etc. the GTR has one small red n one small white light on either side of the number plate, while the GTT has both of those small lights white.

I've seen the really old ones in Brissy, they look like the really old toyota corollas on the side, but on the back, their trademark rear lights and "skyline" emblazoned on its butt says it all. Laughing Theres even a station wagon version of the skyline.
