When renewing the loan of books borrowed from NLB, can the borrower
use his/her ezlink to pay for the renewal?
Or is the renewal can only be paid thru the CashCard? Or both CC
and ezlink?
And usually when would the book be back on the respective racks
after returning to the library?[/b]
$0.50 renewal fee per book. renewal is usually done by
re-borrowing a borrowed book at the self-check machine. the fee is
charged to your library account which you can settle at the payment
machines.
you can pay with cashcard or ez-link card when you scan your
identity card at the payment machines, which shld show all
outstanding fines and a prompt to pay.
note that you can use NETS at the library information counter
should your outstanding due exceed $2.00.
yes, you can owe the library money indefinitely though your
borrowing privileges will be suspended once you exceed an amount in
your library account (should be $2.00, not $5.00) until you settle
the outstanding amount. the maximum fine for overdue borrowing will
not exceed $5.50 per book.
