Understand. But those who wants to buy a car, most likely it is for fun, comfort and convenience. So if you are talking about how worth-it it is to buy a car...

wbucket SG

I have considered about it too.
Will have to re-calculate my budget to see if I can fit that car into my wallet.
Anyway, thanks for your info.

GAL2 SG

U can try Honda Fit 1.3 & Toyota Passo 1.0 from P.I.

GAL2 SG

Totota Passo price drop, nw is less than 70K

bismarck SG

oh ..my apologies..
i reckon he's driving a 1.6

wbucket SG

Sorry gal, I am still looking for Hatchback under 61K!!!
Passo 1.3 is going for about 66k+, as seen in the papers.
But think it comes in auto only, I really want a manual.

And Ya, comparing Passo and Fit, I rather get Fit. Since I can test-drive Jazz to get a feel and it also comes in Manual. But don't think my wallet allows me to go for either.

haha brother,

by the time u make yr decision, maybe a lot of car become out of yr reach.
since price are low now, better make up yr choice fast fast.
U wun know how long the low COE will stay or when again the COE will come to this level again if it rise.

so my recommendation: get yr car before end of this mth.

just my 1 cent worth!!! hehe

cheers!!!!

get the new swift.. shld be quite reliable..
or a 2nd hand fit/colt/march, etc

ceecookie SG

for 30k more, u can buy a Mitsubishi Outlander AWD leh, good power at high rpm even at auto gear.

wbucket SG

Sometime I wonder where you guy are getting your money from.
Seriously I would have a lot more choices if I have that kind of Budget.
30k is actually a lot of money and it took me 2years plus to save up that money.
I appreciate your suggestion, or anyother's, but can just stick to the title?
5k more I can still consider, but 30k!!!!!!

ceecookie SG

aiyah so what if 30k more, just pay by installment and ok already.

vroomvroom SG

since u are asking for hatchback, its quite restricted at tt price actually.
not much of a choice, perhaps a few like picanto, aveo, getz fits into the under 61k category.
but..go for mazda 2..abt 4k more.
i guess u will love it.

other hatchback like nissan march, 66k (abt 5k more than budget)
jazz/fit abt 70k..
colt abt 68k

but seriously if u dont mind a sedan, 61k will be able to get u a value for money vios.

wbucket SG

30k means S$500 more per month.
Unless you are earning 3.5k++ per month, I don't think you are survive.
I am only a lowly engineer with 2.5k salary.
Will be eating off grass from the field if I buy whatever you have suggested.

wbucket SG

Thought of Vios too, too bad it is a sedan.
Nissan should be out too, I heard it drink more and more as it gets older.

bismarck SG

for 2million more, u can get a gallardo.. Rolling Eyes

nOrmalbOi SG

bismarck SG

1.5 ?

nOrmalbOi SG

the gallardo is "only" 800k or so...

Murcielago is about 1.3m

Very Happy

elfhunter SG

30k mean abt $410more per mth for 7 year or $310 fro 10 mth,
Still a big diff to yr budget.

U can eat grass, but yr car still drink petrol!!! hehe Laughing

nOrmalbOi SG

Wow.... i would take the 2nd option man.... extra 310 for 10 months nia

Laughing

ceecookie SG
