Schwing SG

it's considered lucky only if you find one, not buy...

so, if someone who can't count finds a four leaf clover, is he lucky?

A show of hands, who will spend S$50 - S$90 on a piece of leaf casted in acrylic plastic like below:

it may or may not be true that a genuine 4-leaf clover brings luck, but also be aware that you might be paying your hard-earned cash for a leaf of COMMON 4-leaf water plants:

caveat emptor~!! Cool

Ito_^ SG

ooo i got one.. but its juz cute la. lucky anot not impt.

Mr Fugue SG

the point is, you paid $50 for a piece of leaf??

and you can still tell me it's not impt?? Laughing

Aveme SG

some people too rich?

if they want to,let them.

Just like you Mr Fugue, you pay $$$$ for a piece of dzi bead? (stone, rocks to some people)

Mr Fugue SG

dzi beads are artifacts, if you know what that means. Laughing

Aveme SG

yeah sure i know what artifacts mean.

and well u can say it is an artifact, but to some people, they think it is not.So whatever, people just pay for something they think is good

Maybe for this "four leaf clover" that is encased in acrylic plastic, people think they look good or maybe cute and think it is something that is worth to buy just like you think it is worth it to buy an artifact that in its basic form is just a piece of stone.

So?Respect them,if they have the money to throw away, let them be,it is their choice.

Mr Fugue SG

which sentence of mine shows disrespect for the 4-leaf clover??

tell me. Laughing

Aveme SG

then which sentence of mine shows that you show disrespect for the 4-leaf clover?

i am referring to people.respect them for thinking it is worth it to pay exorbitant prices for such an item they think is worth it,just like you would appreciate/expect people not to laugh at you for paying for an artifact?

Mr Fugue SG

okie, so I respect pieces of leaf very much~!! Laughing

I also have much more respect for pieces of stone.
