I learnt html by myself by studying the html code of various
websites.
You can start with MS Frontpage. type a few words/paragraphs, bold
them, hyperlink them and see how html changes. Then progress to
using images. Whats between and tags are content which load in the
background (most javascripts, colour and formatting of the general
text/header in the website) and between tags and is what you see on
the website itself
To do the website design, the only tool you need is Adobe
Photoshop
