it's very shocking even for a happy-go-lucky adult like
me.
they have anime from wed- fri from 1100pm-1200pm.
these anime are ecchi and not the "normal" ones.
they have teenage sex and tongue in cheek pervertness
(exhibitionism etc..)
(ecchi is perverted anime. extreme sexual themes abeit barbie-doll
nudity... i know there are a lot of this kind of anime cos i am the
anime king [400++ series and counting, unbeaten record among my
colleagues , but there are many normal but adult oriented ones
(more voilent but no sexual themes).
then on mon and tuesday they have american perverted
cartoons.
today ther is this "striperella" at 1130pm. lots of american buxom
babes.
they pruposely show a lot of cleavage and you can even see their
hard nipples protruding out of their skimpy outfits. there is even
a pole dancing show.
are these even artistic???
i understand that singapore is trying to break out from its
conservative image (evident from the first legal sexpo) but this is
a little too adventurous. it's the school holidays now and i know
many kids like to stay up late to watch tv etc. their parents are
usually asleep then. these shows are just casually rated "pg" by
mediacorp.
i also understand that the government is secretly in cahoots with
the media censors board and mediacorp, creating propagandic dramas
on channel 8 and channel u.
some examples include tong xin yuan (where the family sells
fishballs), holland v (sells nasi lemak) and double happiness
(sells fish and chips). these dramas promote the F&B (food and
beverage) industry, which is one of the government's aim, that more
singaporeans take F&B business up for a living.
another significant example is the NKF dramas, where they have a
very tetchy story about a few kids and adults in singapore getting
various diseases and not lossing hope blah blah blah... these aim
at getting more donations (to go to ppl like tt durai instead of
the needy ones)
back to the point about the perverted cartoons, i feel that the
media should do sth about it.
