1)Money aside, [b]owning a car saves you a lot of travelling time.
And time cannot be bought.
2) Try hailing a cab at Orchard area at 2200hours - and I'm talking
about doing it in a fair weather.
3) Try hailing a cab at 0800 hours during the weekdays.
4) Try taking a cab driven by a lousy/dangerous/sleepy/whatever
driver.
5) Try going shopping car-less and you really have to plan
hard what to buy first. You don't want to carry these things
everywhere you go.
6) Try whispering sweet nothings to your bf/gf in a cab. I guess it
is not that comfortable with the lau tiko watching you from his
rearview mirror.
7) Try to think how dirty the taxi seats are with hundreds of
strangers touching them.

totall agree, esp with the time thingy... that was one of the
main reasons why i bought the car in the first place.
and with the shopping part, agree too.... i rmb when i used to have
a car, i can just buy and then return to car to dump them and go
for shopping again with empty hands. it's like a mobile locker,
with both the space and the convenience.
