Which heartland mall or shopping ctr needs a computer shop?

Hi all.

Do u sometimes have to buy some computer products, etc...CDRs, DVD-Rs, or peripherials.....and then realised that there isn't any computer shops around in your area?.....and going to SIM LIM would be too far?

If u would to open a computer shop, which heartland mall or shopping ctr would be ideal?

And what do u want to see from a computer shop?....etc, More brand choices, competitive pricing?

Any suggestions or ideas?

Too expensive. Open around neighbourhood best. Neighbourhood have very few of these shops. And nearer to their homes some more.

But neighbour hood shops have farked up service. And the products some are 2nd hand . The shop cheat people by repackaging!. They think Heartlanders are stupid. U can find these "variety" of shops in older housing estates.

If the things not working and when u bring back to them , they start to talk cork and ask u to call the manufacturer's support service saying it is the manufacturer's problem.

With these kinda perceptions about neighbourhood shops or whichever smaller shops...no wonder bigger shops like Challenger (for general electronics) and companies like Dell(for PCs) get bigger n bigger even tough they dish out the same crap.

I think the problem lies in that neighbourhood shops have lesser knowledge of the products.

Those in shopping centres will have at least an ITE certificate in IT.

Anyway, not all neighbourhood IT shops are like that. I know one in AMK gives very good service, and if things still not working, repair for you again until he got no more solutions to come up with.

of cos the stuff more expensive than in SLS
but u get some s/w, games, peripherals and comp accessories...
variety of cos limited
but u can place order

the guys there do know their stuff....

I don't exactly know where, I only know I walk down from Blk 527 (opposite Jing Shan Primary School) to the shop if I got computer problems.

The shop products about the same as those in Sim Lim, some cheaper.
