but the auto tranny costs a bomb and hassle to be changed into a
manual, and the detuning of the engine lowers the torque band of
the car so its much more drivable. That is the reason why ppl buy
an ATR, because it's so much a family car as it is a fast car. put
in a manual and shift the torque band up, and u'd have a car which
is more of a hassle to drive.
