sohguanh SG Hanging is the last resort for crimes deemed too serious to be pardoned by jail or cane alone. It is like the most ultimate resort for convicted criminals. Crimes committed by a serial killer or murderer for example. For kids there is always a leeway claiming the kids are not mature enuff to commit those crimes etc so they can be pardoned. But there must be a cut off point and that is when law is needed to establish when is such a age qualify one to be eligible for hanging or not.
