how to prevent 50 cent pictures from loading!!!

surprisely, the only way is to simply ignore whatever he does or say. at the end of the day, all he looks forward to are reactions , be it lock his thread,...

kc_leung SG

This will work even if he comes back 45555 times...

sure, he'll be banned, but why wait till he clones himself again?

this works only for users of mozilla firefox with adblock extension.
if you dun have firefox, download from here.
if you have firefox but no adblock extension, download from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=10&application=firefox

install the extension by clicking "install now". then restart firefox.

after restarting firefox, go to Tools -> Adblock -> Preferences.

and then copy-and-paste this rule into the "New Filter" box:
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b315/fiftycentz/*
then click "Add".

your preferences box with the new rule:

List of URL used by 50 cent clones:

click done and all pictures from his album will be blocked forever and ever!

CoolMyth SG

Or just right click on his images and select "block images from ....". Cool

kc_leung SG

but this will block all images from that photobucket server. this may be bad if you're browsing bus photos in bus forum, for example. since firefox built-in blocker can only block by server name. adblock block by URL pattern.

one of his post after adblocking.

dragg SG

he will probably come back with new pictures.

alexkusu SG

Question

kc_leung SG

it means that when you make a reply to any topic, the server will look for 50 cent pictures and remove the post with these pictures automatically. all thanks to the admin. Very Happy

but if you go into the topic just after he post the pictures, you will still see them unless you block them with the adblock extension.

i have changed the rule to be type in to http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b315/fiftycentz/* because i noticed one of his pix is not a .jpg file, it was a .gif file.

The return SG

Got any solutions for IE user?

ceecookie SG

but its not worth downloading a program just to block one single pic?

hisoka SG

change browser Laughing

sorry i don't know but i doubt IE has the function

hisoka SG

i find firefox or opera much better than IE. i especially like the tabbed browsing and of course ad block and some of the other sutff like this

kc_leung SG

Maybe try Netspeed2 from here.

It says it can block images. But it is not freeware.
