If any car can be a killing machine, then in this case, any man
can be a President of a country?
Let me make myself clearer; POWER corrupts MAN. Any kind of POWER.
So, not any man, can be a President of a country.
There are many exotic cars in Singapore; Ferrari, Porche, Maserati,
and Lambo. How come, I don't see, or read, about such exotic cars
getting into accidents minor or major? Why??? Why??? Why???
Simple, as not any man becomes President, so does not any man will
own such cars. Hence, it is not highly likely that a modest Perodua
become a killing machine, then the affordable WRX STi.
Admit it; if alcohol can undermine any person's judgement and
over-inflate confidence, so can excessive POWER in a car. Hence, I
call to mind, why is there an age limit on the consumption and sale
of alcholic beverages?? This points to what I'm implying, when I
suggest the authorities implement certain conditions to be met for
buyers of such powerful cars. Power, always corrupts mankind. This
fact, can NEVER change.
It's the same with money; if you have more, you are likely to spend
more. If you have less of it, you'd spend less - or just simply run
out of it. But of course, the experienced, the prudent, the wizen
and those who've been through it all, will no better than to spend
foolishly even when there is great wealth.
No difference with a powerful car. Only difference, is WHO owns it,
and commands it on our roads.
