Li Ka Shing SG Do You Believe Prayers Can Heal? There are some experiments on this. Prayers have positive effects, and even if u pray for another person without him knowing, he will still get the positive effects. Such as faster healing. Ill post the links. Please pray for me so that I can find the good links again. Thank you.
MooKu SG Dunno. But when I hear prayers, or if a friend says he/she will pray for me, it has a soothing effect on my mind.
ndmmxiaomayi SG I believe that prayers can help people to heal faster. Logical reasoning to it: Prayers are meant to calm people down, so a calm mind will help people heal faster. Scientific reasoning to it: No prove. So up to you whether you believe in it or not.
BillyBong SG Like psychics can read your palm and tell the future? Or so-called prophets predicting the end of the world? It's a religious thingy...you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........you must believe.....you must believe...........
LinYu SG I believe. not that you do nothing but just depend on prayer and hope that everything will be OK. You still need to see a doctor and take your medicine. But the positive impact on the mental state can help expidite in healing. Basically it depends on the mental state of the patients and the type or level of the illiness.
SpeedStar SG I dunno if prayer really can heal. But according to my friend, her father recovered from a very critical illness after some christians offer to pray for his dad at her home. And now her whole family believes in christian...
BillyBong SG Some do, silly, it depends on how the psychic intends to read your mind. Some read palms, others hold your hands and meditate, some touch your temple etc etc.... METHOD Mr Fudge, METHOD....
Mr Fugue SG there's a difference btw psychics and fortune-tellers............ fortune-tellers rely on mediums to predict the future (eg; reading lines on palms, analysing birthcharts, tarot cards, hexagrams...etc.) psychics do not need any mediums at all it's common for the laymen to confuse psychics with fortune tellers.
BillyBong SG You're too rigid in your fortune-telling / psychic definition. Contrary to the 'layman', these methods are practiced.
dragg SG i dont believe it one bit. if prayers can change things. religious people wont suffer or die.
