i'm christian and i do question stuff about christianity and
logic. only dumb christians tell you to leave your brains outside
when you go to church. whoever said christians must listen to their
leader and follow every word of the various institutions they are
supposed to govern them? i for one do not belief in keeping mum and
following orders blindly. the big problem is that some people are
either scientific to the extreme or unscientific to the
extreme.
I believe the bulk of the majority do show complete reliance on
the bible, treat it as unfallible and believe the absurb... How
many times have u doubt the bible instead of science ?
Isn't the ans very simple?
'cos they are like you pple liddat .. dun believe the ark can save
them .. maybe they built their own ark but all sank 'cos wrong
dimensions.
We can imagine Noah trying to save them. He talked and talked but
nobody wanna go up the ark (maybe the animals too smelly?).
Tat is also strange... I mean when the rain do come, these
people will have time to believe noah and quickly climb to his
ark.
Your reply is bordering on the strawman's argument. And your
analogy of the cake disappearing is false analogy. So there are at
least two logical fallacies in your reply.
Why don't u emphasise wat do u mean by he presenting a strawman
and analogy being false ? U have to show it instead of claiming it.
So far to many people, his analogy is quite relevant
.. 'cos you conveniently forget there is creation science. I
wouldn't argue for the strength of the evidence presented by
creationists, but at least there are scientific evidence put
up.
U have already said tat they present weak evidence. In the face
of a side with stronger evidence, surely u should believe in the
stronger one isn't it ?
We know in object oriented programming, the base class "begets"
the subclass, just like Adam "begets" Cain and Abel, using biblical
language. The consequence is this .. without the base class you
cannot have the subclass. Simply put, to use the Java example,
without the interface/abstract class List, you cannot have
ArrayList or Vector, just like there can be no Cain without
Adam.
We know all Java class stems from one original class .. the Object
class.
My question is .. who begets this Object class?
Obviously tis is just for confusing people 
If u wanna put a being in charge of classing, then it
definitely is human since even u yourself class cain and abel under
adam.
