Version this and version that.
How bout we read the books of the Bible after they were written by
the men themselves. How about we pay a few translators to translate
from the original language (sorry, but it wasn't english and the
closest today is hebrew) word for word and take the most common
translations.
Or I guess we can wait til it was changed several times, then
grabbed up by the Romans, somethings added, somethings removed, and
a lot editted. And then throughout the medieval ages more edits.
Let's have it extremely loosely translated into English. And then
the most recent "yadda version" vs. "yadda-yadda version". Then we
can have our preachers tell us that each word has a specific
meaning (funny how different preachers claim different meanings,
the way people do and all) Yes, let's take one of these and quote
it as unquestionable historical fact...
And whoever was going on about the Crusades vs. Jews....Do just a
wee bit more reading...It wasnt the Jews they were trying to
convert....
As an aside, I am not Atheist, nor anything like that, regardless
of how my arguments may sound....
