I drove a Prius in LA and it's got to be one of the most miserable
driving experiences I've ever had. The electric engine has no
vibration or sound, and the damping of the chassis makes it worse -
it's the driving equivalent of walking around when your foot's
asleep. You need to do everything according to your
instrumentation, which is not a natural way to drive.
The lack of feedback from the chassis and steering wheel was so
bad, I found myself wondering why the tyres were making so much
noise, and then I realised that I was taking a sharp curve at 60
MPH, not km/h.
