Jay Chou totally cannot act as Takumi. Rolling Eyes The 'look' isn't there. Tsui Hark isn't directing. Exclamation

Praetorian111 SG

ya dude Jay too cool for the role of takumi…. dun think he fit into the role at all…. maybe he shld act as the leader of redsun…. that one suits him better…. (this is my personal view)

jzzy011561s SG

But Jay Chou got that bored look, almost never smiles, kind of like Takumi. . .
I'm more worried whether they will keep true to Initial D or become
3 fast 3 furious canto version *shudder*

bismarck SG

jay chou's eyes too small for takumi

redsuns ? abit too short for the role leh

aiyah dun ask for much lah. later the movie sucks like hell then u know...got 100% character and actor matching also no use.

script, storyline, director and lousy cars also no use...right?

Praetorian111 SG

I'm a bit unsure that Jackie Chan as Bunta will work out nicely. I think Bunta is pretty stone faced, it's like he's got ice water in his veins (good for racing). But Jackie's face is quite animated and I don't think Jackie is one to carry a cigarette well. And there's also the small problem of his nose...

I guess it's because of his previous movie Thunderbolt that Jackie was chosen. But still it's Bunta we're talking about.

Supra87 SG

why not ask jolin to be the role of takumi’s girlfriend?

bismarck SG

i prefer cyndi

KeisukeFD SG

ever watch before the show legend of speed where there is ekin cheng and simon yam.. i think they fit nicely into the movie as simon yam was cool driving in teh show with the nitros on… jay chou doesnt fit takumi … maybe other roles, i think if kein acts he fits Keisuke, looks and attitude almost the same.. i heard abt it too but i duno which web it says can anyone tell me?
