pat33 SG ppl from similar culture adapt better? ..... of course preferred by host nation?...... socially of course, politically won't admit. but culture is an evolving thing so no absolute "culturally similar countries" exists. thus concept of "culture- fit" can only applies in loose and not absolute term.

redstone SG Like Spain/Portugal and some South American nations have similar cultures as they were their colonies. The Chinese-majority places like China, Taiwan, Singapore, HK, Macau. If we move there, we'll feel slightly more 'home' the other places.
