Y the need for broadband and the dvd-writers? Broadband just for gaming???
Of cos becos we want to d/l illegal stuffs and dvd-writers to burn the movies we d/led. If they saw a fall in subscribers in broadband, dunno whether the isp will fight against the law anot???

Just because the technology is there, you cannot argue that the technology is meant for the purpose you perceive to be Rolling Eyes

It could be meant for other purposes, for example, DVD-rw for backing up large amts of data, and broadband for gaming Wink

Speed! Speed is the key Laughing

ppl are demanding for more speed. many ppl are multi-tasking nowadays, we haf grown used to it. do u really wanna go to a website and watch it load for 5 mins? wat abt for example, sharing a home video u made wif yr frens? u wanna send it to them via 56k?

compare the diff between VCD and DVD. yea u'll noe why ppl demand for DVD writers now. and with more ppl storing multimedia content in their computers, DVDs r often used to backup yr files. besides, its the same size as a CD, so y complain?

feel free to go back to 56k networking and CD-ROM drives, i bet u'll get frustrated within 30mins Wink

I think he means... why the hell we'll need those stuff... if they start pushing us hard on illegal downloading matters...

Why the hell we need DVDs to store things? There's nth to store... coz people oni usually store illgeal downloaded videos... Cool

And ya... Bb... we probably be fed up going to 56K now.. but frankly speaking... I think more than 80 % of the home users got broadband to download stuff... I noe I did... People probably just switch over to Jet Pack if we can't download stuff... Rolling Eyes And in the end... its our ISP that loese out...
