Which Car?

Hi all,

for the price of 60-65K, which car has the power to be able to rev (i.e speed up is fast from gear 1 to gear 2 for auto car?)

i know of toyota corolla 1.6 is able to do so.

mitsuibishi lancer 1.6 auto [email protected]!!!but,the price of 62k is attractive.

so,other than these two cars,any cars of 62K and is able to rev up the speed fast,anyone has any comments?

vios manual?how abt vios auto?is it good?

i am not requesting for a super turbo or something...juz that the engine must be responsive and be able to rev up slightly....i tried mitsubishi lancer,auto and it requires me to step the accelerator all the way,to be able to rev and although,it has the reving soung...but it has nopower...abit draggy..and i am talking about auto...no manual pls as i want it to be hasslefree...

any comments?

try

a) Vios.... pickup faster than altis....coz much lighter....
b) Getz 1.6.... should be fast....
c) buy a BMW bike..... if u dun mind without cover.....

Go for City vtec…auto with CVT. The steermatic 7 speed will blow your mind out!

But i guess Vios auto shd be the logical choice with your budget.

VVTI engine, fuel saving, within your budget, toyota brand means not too bad resale price.

Go for vios. i dont think it will be a wrong choice.

The only thing working against it is u see so many vios on the road.

But seriously, who cares? esp if u have a budget constraint to talk about, the most logical thing to do is to find value for money car.

Saw the new Swift at the motor show and the cabin space is crampy. Interior layout is very basic although it scores on the exterior.

Vios is also a good choice but there are just so many on the road and it will affect the resale value. This has happened to the Sunny, whereby a lot was sold at near or scarp value as they simply have no value in the 2nd hand market. Singaporean are kiasu and most will follow the herd and play safe.

All said go try both Vios and City and make your choice.
