elindra SG

That guy is prettier than alot of girls really

An0nym0us SG

haha, yea, he's a guy and you're not the only person asking that question the first time you saw him.
BTW, that dress looks awesome with all the accessories and stuff. Whew.
So far the most beautiful males I've seen in the VK scene would be Reiya(if s/he is not a trans that is; can't find much info though), Tara and Takumi from Panic Ch*, Yue(I think thats the name) from Aile, Miyavi and DK from seeker.

ok. thats really cool. But honestly u'd only get away with it if u're in the goth/punk/rock music scene. im assuming they do J-rock?

personally im very attracted to feminity so i usually don't give a hoot about how guys look. But these few, i must say, look kewl as ice. er philia, the ones u posted fall short of the mark Mr. Green

An0nym0us SG

Well, I also like feminity and appreciate beauty.
If you're interested in the VK scene, there's always magazines like Shoxx or Cure; they're in japanese though. Too many picts to post lol.

An0nym0us SG

Yea, they're all guys...

An0nym0us SG

Well, I guess thats enough examples of effeminate guys.

[email protected] SG

if they're guys they're on mones!

Cure... hmm maybe they're named after The Cure(famous goth punk band in the late 80s)

[email protected] SG

actually the 1st one not attractive. Masculine jawline. can tell its a male instantly

An0nym0us SG

Yup, most VK-ers are Jrockers and very few jrockers are females. How ironic, it seems as if its almost the epitome of feminity and the bane to females at the very same time.

[email protected] SG

too masculine also

[email protected] SG

what does VK actually stand for?

An0nym0us SG

Visual Kei, a sense of style in Japan most common in the jrock scene where they guys usually either dress from 1 extreme(Super feminine and look sooo extremely girly; that includes crossdressing and makeup) to the other(Imagine goths and undead people).

An0nym0us SG

not sure, never heard of it but those magazines are expensive, like around S$20 per copy. Kinokuniya has it.

As for those guys on mones, not too sure. Some guys look really pretty without mones. lol.

philia SG

Yeah I have seen Tara and Takumi in magazines. I heard some rumors about Reiya taking hormones pills however I cannot assure you of its accuracy. I feel that Miyavi's face is delicately fine even without makeups.

By the way, why would you put Lee Sang Ah's pic?

An0nym0us SG

hey, I got that image, is that a guy or a girl now? Another forum said thats a guy. So huh, who's who now? I'm confused....

As for reiya taking hormone pills, I've heard of it too but as you said, they're rumors.

Gablurr SG

Toshiya from dir en grey. Girls are crazy about him. Wink
In Japanese culture, there's a world called Bishionen. Which basically means 'Pretty-Boy'. Just look at the anime. Basically almost all the good looking male characters have feminine features.

And why was it at Slyvester Sim was so popular...

Gablurr SG

PWNz!!! Mr. Green

philia SG

That image is a 100% female. She is Lee Sang Ah. Apparently many korean websites are glorifying her pictures. She is no celebrity; just a commoner as far as I know.

philia SG

IMO, sly is not feminine at all. Crying or Very sad

Gablurr SG

Ok, maybe not feminine but androgynous. Also, I've once read in an article that the bigger more testostrone-pumped square-jawed hairy guys have greater tendencies for agressiveness (me..etc). And some girls instinctively prefer guys who does not look too 'manly', and that is supposely expecially so for the south-east asians (i.e. japanese, koreans, chineses) who orginated in the colder climates in mongolia. So I guess its not the end of the world if you are not 'manly' enough by the modern westernised social standards.
