Heyy another MR-S. Not exactly true that you cannot accelerate
while doing a turn. It will have to depend on the type of the turn.
For example, let's take Akagi, the 4 hairpins. When going downhill,
you can just tap the brake (keep abt 155) and slide your way
through. For these turns you cannot accelerate because you are
moving downwards. Too much force. But if taking these turns going
uphill you can still maintain the accelerator at half. I can't
quite do this half step so I just pump the accelerator. You'll be
surprised. You can actually be in 5th gear doing the 3rd and 4th
hairpin (out of the 4) when going uphill.
For huge turns like Myogi and Usui, you need to step on the brake
to lock your rear wheels to allow you to drift through the turn.
You car will swing almost 80 degrees. It's normal, just need to
counter steer fast, really fast.
