well i just bot a lancer 1.6 5 M/T sports.i had e same prob wic one to choose from.after much thought i went for the lancer as it looks much sporty than the nissan wic looks weird to say the least.even with body kit it looks way funny to consider it sporty.past few yrs nissan has increased its sales.but mitsu has been having some prob.so i guess tats a reason y nissan is doin well.i was driving a nissan before this but i wanted a manual car wic had it all.i m enjoyin my lancer as it is done up well with its body kit, ralliart and custom decals wic make it look really good.it makes ppl turn their head wic i dun think a sunny will.perfomance wise so far so gd n its fc has exceeded my expectations.can travel 200km with only quarter tank gone.my old sunny 1.5auto did only 170km with all e fuel saver.a couple of days ago i had a small race with another lancer auto near queensway.both of us started off from a standstill but mine being manual proved it had better power n i cld seen e car behind my windscreen from ikea to alex hos.just to let u know e diff bet e transmission.if u buy sports edition it comes with leather seats, body kit, spoiler n kenwood player with various displays.it costs 66k with auto 2k more.in my opinion lancer is much better than a sunny n more lancers can be seen on the road.i dunno if u prefer wic type of car so choose wisely n make sure u feel good when u sit in it. Very Happy

Are you sure the price diff is so little? Lancer has always been more expensive than Sunny.

The basic model of Sunny (EX) is better equipped than the Lancer and should be selling at lower price.

Just my opinion.
