Physical geog only Plate tectonics, weathering, natural veg

borntolive SG

i took in 2002..ah love geog

for me i study veg, plates, weathering... river chapter too big + coastal qn might be included in river qns, weather chapter too hard

for human i study relatively all of them but put more focuse on agri, industries, population..i think agri is easy leh..quite straight foward

ceecookie SG

how's pure geo?Its what i choose for my subject next yr(sec 3)

LazerLordz SG

2002.

Pure Geog.I concentrated mostly on Human Geography.Did transport and resource geography of the Ruhr Valley in Europe. Laughing

renorenal SG

I find Geography interesting Mr. Green but I took it in 1999...

Different types of peeps have diff opinions...

Those who like to memorise facts: Physical geog is definitely for you
Those who hate memorising facts (like myself): Sec 3 is a nightmare... physical geog depends on memorising hard. Human geog everything ok except agriculture (memorising those HYV seeds and stuff)

Depressed...sigh SG

Geog actually easy to score..but sian, i'm quite average at it Neutral

monkeybusiness SG

took in 2002 too

if i remember correctly,i only focus on mainly human geo..vegetation, coastal, weathering and population studies Laughing

ceecookie SG

well i had no choice coz i dun want D&T,F&N and Art....geo and some other subject is the perfect one.....

striderz_o405 SG

Wise choice if you take up pure geog. The other 3 are harder to score.

striderz_o405 SG

no others taking pure geog tmr? Rolls eyes Rolling Eyes

ceecookie SG

but the geo teacher recommend that i do not take it as it is hard...dunno if i can take it next yr......

striderz_o405 SG

Not that hard. For sec 3 just know the concepts of it.
Sec 4 use common sense.

D&T, F&N, Art.... the hardest to score distinctions. Geog is the easiest still.

Ayukat SG

Geography very hard meh? I tok common sense?

I always tell my friends... Geograhhy is a very lame subject... coz they ask common sense quesions...

Criterias for agriculture? Toopid rite? Need climate, land, seed, irrigation, money, house for workers, machines...

Manufactoring... Also toopid... provide more job for people, increase income...

Depressed...sigh SG

who is an A student in geog here? Mr. Green

Mr Fugue SG

geography is only good when you want to become a farmer. Laughing

Griffie SG
