Cuppucino,S2000,AE86 or Impreza type-r STI?

well basically i have these 3 cars but i just dun know which one is worth training or worth ditching cos frankly speaking i like all of them…. anyone can care 2 tell me the strenghts and weaknesses of the cars???

4 cars you mean?
Bascially I will recommend try to use the AE86 1st. Once you get the hang of the characteristic of this car, the rest of the car will come easy to drive(that's my personal experience) as AE86 is not a easy car to master.
Also since you have already got the card for the rest of the car(You are playing the arcade I presume), can also play around with them so that you can get the hang of driving different cars.

For the strength and weakness

AE86 and Cappocuino try not to "kiss" any walls, if not the RPM pick up will be very slow. Also the cappocuino is a very drifty car so must control it very well if not you will be spending alot of time trying to counter steer back to position. Other than that, this 2 cars have a better top speed compared to the S2000 and STI.

S2000 for me is quite an average car with 6 gears. Nothing too fancy about this car. Tends to oversteer abit as well.

As for the STI, you will find that the handling will be quite different from the others as it's a 4WD car. You will be amazed by the pickup speed of this car.

Impreza WRX SG

My car of choice is the Impreza WRX Type R. I have tried the AE86 and Capp but I just can't seem to control these 2 cars well. I guess I played too long with the WRX. Very Happy

Anyway the strength of the WRX is in its pickup from start. Its first 3 gears are very strong and allow you to take the lead all the time against human players unless you knock around at the start. Also it has good acceleration in the higher gears only if you do not take any knocks even minor ones. It is also pretty easy to handle. The bad points is that it cannot be modified through parts change. Its course has been set so there is no room for customization. The WRX also has a hard time trying to reach its top speed and I think the top speed is only 205. I have not been able to go past that.

I don't know about you.... but well ok the 4WD cars r definately much faster.....
but when it comes to the evo vs wrx competition, i feel that the evo still wins......
just wondering.... whats the top u can go thru myogi's THAT only corner which u need to brake for with the wrx?

4WD will be faster in terms of initial acceleration but usually will lose out in terms of top speed. If you get a RX and a WRX or EVO on a straight road, you'll see that the 4WD will speed out first and then at about 3 - 4th gear, the RX will start to catch up.

EVO vs WRX. I feel it's more on personal preference.

For Myogi's turn, I can't remember which is for which side but for one side the WRX can turn at 201 and for the other side 199 without touching the mountain. Not too sure but I think it can be a little bit faster.

But i just find tt the new AE101 engine is a bit hard to control… handling-wise the car is well balanced…just as the s2k.. only tt the s2k is a bit harder 2 drift

Hard to control..... meaning? Drift alot? Slow in picking up speed? Ummm... actually if play more with this car, should have no problem controling the car well. Just have to get used to it.

As for the S2000, Try play Myogi(1st track) and u will actually find that it's more drifty than the AE86.

I have about 2.4 million on this WRX. I'm not sure which level you mean but my battle level is 11 and my player level is 23 (stars on card).

I mean the engine.... the powerband is wierd.... dunno which range where the full power comes out... all i know tt it's a high-rpm powerband engine........

For the RPM, usually I will change gear once the needle exceeds 11K slighty. If you realise, once you kiss the walls or something, the needle will be "stuck" at the 10K range... That explains there's no power so the crux is try not to bang/kiss any walls.

That's why at times you have to light brake to store power in your drive, so eg when you exit a corner you will be able to rev up with those stored power.

Impreza WRX SG

I don't think the battle or player level will affect your car in any way. Also I don't think excess points past 990k (full tune) do anything extra to your car either. Haven't tried EVO4 but I did try EVO7. At full tune, I did get 198 - 199 for the 2 turns at Myogi. But I didn't really play with the EVO7 after 990k as I still like the look of the WRX.

What about your cornering speeds for Usui?
