last SG · 2005-10-18T16:04:06+00:00

The chapters are grouped into themes... u need to study at least 3 themes, cause at least 1 will come out. if u study 4 themes, then got more choice if the...

stellazio SG

last year came out swiss and diplomacy..i think u can try on ireland.. Laughing

Quinsy SG

Safe. Fuck venice.

technoboy SG

I’m going study merger and Venice…

hisoka SG

hmm whats social studies about sounds ridiculuous like the brainwashing by government propaganda

technoboy SG

Lol, its kinda like history... But its not either... Laughing

Too complicated for me

skyfoo SG

SS quite easy, just memorise sure score. got an A2

Pitot SG

Siwss chapter out of syllabus lo!
Next year Merger is gonna go too...
So better study merger! Impt!!

Prophecy_Master SG

i can't agree with u, nowdays in the SEQ they wanna see your content and view on the issues. meaning pure memorising won't work unless u wanna score a 25/50 out of the whole paper.

venice will come out Wink my spider sense told me that Shocked

DeathEdge SG

hmm..been given quite alot of prelim paper from other school this year.. all i can say is Venice has a damn high possibility of coming out (after checking all the schools SEQ which all included venice), most of my friends are banking on it =/

borntolive SG

best is try to study al least everything ..then last few days focuse on those u think will come out..just in case that yr wad u guess never come out..then the 25 marks gone...

my yr , which is the 1st batch got venice but i never study lol.. but i tink venice n merger not safe... wad i think good to study is the conflicts n industial develop..
why? cause of violence like terrorism u see nowadays

mystiv SG

at least read through everything. there's no guarantee in what may come out.

hahax. SS is fun. i topped my class for exams Razz

technoboy SG

Looks like there's alot of pro SS here... Laughing

Venice is such a big topic though... Hate to memoerise those names and stuffs...

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Forget one thing. My teacher says that Venice was tested quite a long time ago and has not been tested since. Since it did not come out last year, it may come out this year. Better study Venice.

papercut87 SG

i helped my younger brother spot diplomacy and deterence... he's working on that.

good luck Cool

girlyger SG

Topic which came out last year will least probably come out. but most importantly is to remember all the main points. so when the qns is out. jot down the important points. the elaborate based on ur understanding..

papercut87 SG

the expectation of the social studies paper of not that high as you've mentiioned... 90% of the time they want facts and examples.... n u just need to argue a teeny portion for the last paragraph. as long as you memorize ur stuff well, its at least a A2 or a B3.. (not a 25/50)

Depressed...sigh SG

Hi people,

I've read through the thread, thanks for the tips..maybe I'll study venice, the singapore : a country most precious resource and the singapore 21st century development

omg, diplomacy and deterrence like last yr or two yrs ago come out already?

Depressed...sigh SG

Actually, I have the book on how to answer for ss structured question and source base, so I need not worry how to answer them. (yes, for every chapters), but the problem is the spotting of questions.

Depressed...sigh SG

wow, great job for searching it so thoroughly Shocked

ndmmxiaomayi SG

Diplomacy and deterrence very popular. Every few years come out one time. Another thing is that no matter what they ask, they want the same thing: facts and how you argue them to support your views.
