anhydrouscoppersulphate SG but i think citric acid is weak. u try singer oil. its availabe anywhere. the bottle is white. the oil is highly penetratable. the better one would be WD-40 its blue in color
ShrodingersCat SG alternatively you can place your item inside a pyramid. However, apparently it only works if you item is like.. 1/10 the size of the pyramid.. or you got to make your pyramid 10 times the size of your item.

kc_leung SG Hmm... although WD-40 will dry by itself, it is also used as lubricant, used to make surfaces slippery. So you can't use it if the surface can't become "slippery"...
hisoka SG must see what plastic mah then can see the chemical structure then can analyse the degradation process and thus estimate if the weak acid will afect the bonds
