exactly! there is no such thing as being influenced. Like i have
always said, straight people will certainly not be influenced, and
gay people will be encouraged to step out of the closet. the people
who keep mentioning that they are worried that more people "will be
encouraged to be gay" are in reality more worried that if society
was open, THEY themselves will be forced to consider the fact that
they are actually gay. in other words, these people who use "for
the greater good of the society" as an excuse, are actually the
closet gays, who have been brought up with negative social
conditioning which leads them to live their whole live in denial,
and developing homophobia as a result.
