I shall openly admit that I was (am?) a DOOM and DOOM II
fanatic, and have spent many, many hours playing the game. The DOOM
movie isn't exactly Masterpiece Theater--it's pure eye candy that
will probably only be appreciated by die-hard DOOM aficionados and
fanatics.
Apparently, there's a segment towards the end of the movie that's
done in the classic FPS perspective. A friend who's also a DOOM
fanatic suggested that we each sneak a keyboard and mouse into the
cinema, and when the movie gets to the FPS segment, we break them
out and make like we're playing DOOM on a huge screen, and have
someone take a picture of us.
