Rim size does affect car performance. I am not sure in the game,
but in real life bigger rims, will produce a faster top end speed
for your car. But pick up will be slightly slower. In a 1/4 mile
drag race, an increase in 1" in your rim size will reduce your
timing by approx .25 of a second! that is why most drag racers use
15" max rim at the rear. Where as performance racers like your rx7,
dc2 , ferraris etc use 17-even 21" rims.
